About
Built by people who got tired of chasing.
DueFire exists because freelancers spend three to five hours a month writing the same awkward email — "just checking in on invoice #042" — and it never gets easier. We built the tool we wished we had.
The problem we noticed
The market splits into "barely tries" and "way too much."
On one side: invoicing tools — FreshBooks, Bonsai, Wave — that send a single "your invoice is overdue" email and call that payment chasing. It isn't.
On the other side: enterprise A/R platforms — Chaser, Upflow — that cost $200–$880 a month, take days to set up, and assume you have a finance team running them. Built for SMBs and enterprises, not for the one person with 20 active clients.
Nothing in the middle was built for the freelancer. So we built it.
What we believe
Five principles, one product.
Not another invoicing tool.
You already have one. DueFire integrates with the tools you use — Stripe, PayPal, FreshBooks, QuickBooks, Xero — and adds the chasing layer they don't.
Money never touches us.
Payments flow directly to your Stripe, PayPal, or bank. We are a SaaS subscription. We never sit in the money flow, never hold escrow, never take a cut of recovered amounts.
Escalation, not nagging.
Each reminder in the sequence is strategically different. Friendly, then firm, then formal — the way a real human would write them, but you do not have to.
Data-driven, but transparent.
We track which clients pay late so you can be ready next time. No black-box AI scoring you cannot interrogate. The rules are visible. You can adjust them.
Professional, not aggressive.
The goal is to get paid AND keep the relationship. Our default templates protect that. Demand letters are a last resort — you approve every one before it sends.
Who we're for
Freelancers, not finance departments.
The solo freelancer
Web devs, designers, copywriters, photographers, consultants. 5–30 active clients. Already on FreshBooks, PayPal, or Stripe. Loses 10–20% of revenue to late or unpaid invoices.
The small agency
2–5 person team. 20–100 active clients. One person spending half a day a week on accounts receivable. Wants the chasing automated so they can do real work.
The international freelancer
Cross-border, multi-currency. Wise + PayPal + bank transfers from foreign clients that take a week and arrive with mangled references. Reconciliation is the hard part.

Three invoices on us.
The free tier is the trial. If it earns its keep, you'll know.
No credit card required. Money goes directly to your Stripe / PayPal / bank — never to us.
