- Does DueFire take a cut of the money?
- No. DueFire is a SaaS subscription. When your client pays, the money goes from them straight to your Stripe account, your PayPal, or your bank — depending on which method they used. We never sit in between.
- What counts as an "active invoice"?
- An invoice is active until it's marked paid, cancelled, or otherwise closed. Once it's closed it stops counting against your plan limit, so a Starter plan can process far more than 20 invoices a year — 20 is just the maximum that can be open and chasing at once.
- Can I cancel anytime?
- Yes. We don't do contracts. Cancel from your settings and you keep access until the end of your current billing period.
- Do you offer a free trial of paid plans?
- The free tier (3 invoices) is the trial. If three invoices is enough to convince you, you keep using the free tier. If it isn't, upgrade.
- Which payment methods can my clients use?
- Card via Stripe, PayPal, or direct bank transfer with reconciliation. Whichever you've configured shows up on your invoice payment page. Clients never need to sign up for anything.
- How are demand letters generated?
- A professionally-formatted PDF, generated from a template you've approved, with optional configurable late fees. You review and send. We don't auto-fire legal-sounding letters without you knowing.
